Walton County does not publish one all-court portal for every case file. The search path turns on the court. The Clerk of the Superior Court is the custodian for Superior Court civil, criminal, divorce, appeal, execution, and lien docket records. Walton Magistrate Court maintains small claims, dispossessory, garnishment, abandoned motor vehicle, preliminary criminal, and warrant matters. Probate Court handles estates, wills, guardianships, marriage licenses, weapons carry licenses, and some traffic or misdemeanor matters.

Before searching, identify the case type, court level, party name, approximate filing date, and any case number. A felony or divorce case normally points to Superior Court. A small claim, eviction, garnishment, or warrant issue usually points to Magistrate Court. An estate, will, guardianship, marriage record, or Probate traffic docket belongs with Probate Court. City traffic and ordinance cases may be in Monroe, Loganville, Social Circle, or Walnut Grove municipal court records instead of a county court database.

The PeachCourt portal is a Georgia e-filing and document access channel used by participating courts. It may help with electronically filed documents, but access depends on the court, account status, and provider rules.

What Walton Court Records Show

Restricted Walton Court Records
