Walton County dockets are split by court. Superior Court is part of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit and handles felonies, divorce, equity, land title, and major civil matters. Magistrate Court handles small claims, dispossessory, garnishment, abandoned motor vehicle, warrant, and preliminary criminal matters. Probate Court handles estates, wills, guardianships, marriage, weapons carry, and some traffic or misdemeanor matters. Monroe, Loganville, Social Circle, and Walnut Grove municipal courts keep city citation and ordinance dockets.

The fastest docket path is to identify the court first, then use that court's calendar or search channel. Walton Magistrate Court points users to its WebCaseManagement system for civil case information and warrant access. Georgia Probate Records includes traffic dockets and a hearings or traffic calendar module. Superior Court calendar information is published through the Alcovy Circuit calendar page, and court-specific records still route through the Clerk of the Superior Court when the online calendar does not answer the question.
- Confirm whether the case is Superior, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, municipal, or federal.
- Use the online portal or calendar tied to that court, such as Magistrate WebCaseManagement, Georgia Probate Records, or Alcovy Circuit calendars.
- Search by party name, case number, hearing type, or court module when the system allows it.
- Compare the docket entry with the hearing notice, citation, summons, warrant, or clerk notice already in hand.
- Call the court clerk when the case is sealed, too new, too old, transferred, continued, or not posted online.

Dockets by Walton Court
Each Walton court has a different docket role. Superior Court calendars and records are part of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit and the Clerk of the Superior Court. Docket vs Full Case Record
A docket is a map of the case. The full case record is the file behind that map. A docket can show that a motion, answer, summons, accusation, plea, or order was filed. The full case record contains the document itself if public access is allowed. This distinction is important in Walton Magistrate criminal matters because the county says criminal warrants may be viewed online but documents are not viewable through that channel.

Walton Court Calendars
Superior Court calendar access runs through the Alcovy Circuit. The calendar page is the best starting point for scheduled Superior Court events, but a posted calendar is not the same as a certified docket or transcript. Hearing dates can change. If a case involves a deadline, warrant, bond condition, or trial setting, confirm with the court rather than relying on an old saved calendar.

Use Alcovy calendars for hearing schedules, then use the Clerk of the Superior Court for the official case file or docket copy.
Note: On July 1, 2025, Alcovy Circuit said civil court reporters are no longer provided by Superior Court judges for civil calendars.
That civil court reporter notice affects later transcript planning. Parties who want a civil matter taken down must arrange with the court reporter in advance. A docket may show that a hearing occurred, but it does not create a transcript by itself. This matters for civil appeals, motions, and later record review.
Municipal Dockets in Walton
City cases may not appear in county Probate or Superior systems. Monroe Municipal Court handles city traffic and ordinance cases at 140 Blaine Street. Loganville Municipal Court handles city traffic and municipal cases at 605 Tom Brewer Road. Social Circle Municipal Court hears misdemeanor criminal and traffic offenses within city limits and lists regular court on the third Wednesday of the month. Walnut Grove Municipal Court handles city matters at 1021 Parks Street.

Federal Dockets for Walton
Federal docket access is separate from Walton County courts. Walton County is assigned to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, Athens Division. Federal criminal, civil, bankruptcy, and federal-question cases are searched through PACER, federal court clerk systems, or limited free legal search tools. The Walton County Clerk of the Superior Court does not keep federal dockets.

Check federal systems only for federal cases. County Superior, Magistrate, Probate, and municipal docket questions remain with Walton County or city courts.

Ask whether the court can confirm the next date, provide a public docket sheet, or explain how to request copies. For mail or fax requests, confirm fees and payment method first. For non-court county records, Walton County uses NextRequest, but court docket questions should start with the court custodian.
